23/2/06 Launch Party

In time honoured tradition, Head For The Hills was 'officially launched' yesterday, with Chairman of Mole Valley District Council, Cllr Neil Maltby our guest of honour, official ribbon cutter, and game to allow a cheesy photo opportunity. A good time was had by all, we got to thank everyone that had helped us get off our feet, and we've got enough left over olives to get us through the week, so it was a success on all levels.

It's been three weeks since we opened now, and we've had a very encouraging start. Thanks to everyone that despite the rain, snow and general February grimness have called by to wish us luck, have a browse, and buy things. We're really enjoying it so far, and with Spring just around the corner, we're looking forward to warmer days and lighter evenings.
