16/9/08: Trek & Gary Fisher 2009

Last week we went to Trek's UK headquarters in Milton Keynes to see the Trek and Gary Fisher ranges for 2009. Both brands have received a big makeover this year, very cool looking colours and graphics, and lots of coordination on the parts too - gold headsets and spacers with matching saddle trim - nice! Here are some of the highlights...
The bike we were most looking forward to seeing, the all new Gary Fisher Roscoe. 140mm travel, so a direct match with the Commencal Meta 5.5 - should be a quite a showdown!

The test ride didn't disappoint either, so we'll be getting one of these as a demo bike just as soon as they're available in October.

The bike that was a big hit when introduced half way through last year, the 150mm travel Trek Remedy. We'll also have one of these as a demo bike this year.
Our favourite example of Gary Fisher's new look -
the 'root beer' Hoo Koo E Koo.
Not something we'll be putting in the shop, probably a bit much for Leith Hill, but mightily impressive nonetheless - the 8" travel Session DH, a monster of a bike.
And at the other end of the scale, this fancy looking belt-drive commuter, resplendent in orange rims.

As well as the new Roscoe and Remedy demos, we'll have a brand new 2009 Trek Fuel EX and Gary Fisher HiFi test bike again, so they'll be even more choice to test this year - the Fuel EX is already in the shop, and the others will be soon - give us a call or drop us an email to book a demo.
